Summary

Do you love drawing characters? Ever dreamed about making Comics or Manga? Put your skills on paper with this upcoming Comic Book Workshop. This workshop is for you if you’re always drawing characters but don’t know where to start with making pages. Students are challenged to use their own original characters or use existing characters to practice making their two page short story.

Matt Roper is a visual artist and creator with experience making independent comics, illustration and 2D animation for video games. He’ll be your guide in going over the fundamental building blocks for making comic pages. Matt will show you the production processes in modern comics and a look behind the scenes of creating his own pages. We’ll cover story ideas, character design, page layouts and inking techniques.

After this workshop you should have the building blocks to start making your own comic pages. We hope that you’re ready to draw!
