Ray Gonzales is a ceramic artist whose work is deeply rooted in storytelling, history, and cultural tradition. Drawn to clay for its tactile and narrative qualities, he sees the material as both a canvas and a connection to the past. On the wheel, he explores both traditional and modern forms, experimenting with color, texture, and firing techniques—from electric and gas kilns to Raku and primitive firings.
