Join us for Artist 2 Artist, a vibrant art jam where creativity meets community! This month, we’re celebrating the art of painting with an amazing day of artistic expression.

Kick off the event with an engaging artist lecture by talented local artist Jennifer Lugris, who will share insights into her creative journey and techniques during the first hour. Then, grab your brushes and let your imagination flow as we dive into an open painting session with fellow artists.

Whether you’re a seasoned painter or just starting, this is your chance to create, connect, and collaborate in a welcoming space.

Jennifer Lugris paints vibrant scenes of everyday life as an expression of gratitude to her North Korean refugee ancestors, who risked everything to build a better future for the next generations. Recognized with numerous awards, her work goes beyond painting—it is a powerful act of storytelling, healing, and community. Rather than centering generational trauma, her art centers generational fortitude, highlighting the strength, perseverance, and agency that have shaped her family for decades. Join her for a compelling lecture on how painting can be a powerful tool for discovering meaning, even in life’s most challenging moments.
